I know, I know, another lone tree!

But look how dainty and awesome it is, growing our of the steeply sloped rocky outcrop.

I love how something so strong can emerge and thrive in a rugged terrain.

I’m always amazed at the resilience of trees – they’ll try to grow anywhere, and somehow seem to survive.

From the same shoot/hike near Dunkeld as the previous few posts.

Shot using the Sony A7ii and Sony 100-400mm lens.
