Nature and fine art photography by Cat Burton.

A friend once told me that when robins stare at you, they’re not watching you out of interest, more sizing you up to see if they could beat you in a territorial fight. That’s pretty badass. I’m not sure if it’s true, but I like to think these cute little critters are actually _very_ kickass demon birds.

It feels much cooler here in the last couple of days – it’s like autumn is ready to begin.

I’m looking forward to the cooler weather and seeing more of these little guys hopping around the garden.

Photographed back in February using the Sony A7ii and 100-400mm lens.
