Nature and fine art photography by Cat Burton.

This photo of a lovely little blackbird was taken a couple of months ago in parkland near Loch Ness.

I was visiting the area as a friend had commissioned me to create 3 photographs to illustrate their short story.

During my walk, I took a bit of a detour through some woodland and when I popped out the far side, I was in this large garden area by the loch, surrounded by birds and rabbits! It felt so magical.

I spent quite a lot of time here, amongst the animals, having the time of my life and getting back to basics. Moments like these are where my passion for photography initially began. :)
