Today’s image is one I shot a few years ago, near the Moray Coast of Scotland.
I recently went back to this spot to see what the scene was like and the little cabin has since given-way quite a lot. Also, since it was summer, the scene was incredibly lush and green.
I definitely preferred this view. It was actually shot in winter, January to be precise. Even though it looks autumnal, from the colour of the golden grasses and foliage, it was very much a wintery day – just minus the telltale frost!
Photographed with my old Sony 70-200 f4 on the Sony A7ii (I’ve since upgraded to the 100-400mm). For those wanting the technicals: 171mm at f/10, 0.8sec, ISO 50.
I’ve now launched my 2018-2019 workshops. This year I’ve decided to make them fully customisable. You can build your own workshop! You tell me what you want to focus on (landscapes/wildlife/camera skills/macro…pretty much anything – there’s a big list!) and we’ll work together to figure out the best date/location.
Just head on over to my Workshops page for more details!
