Session Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm (3 hours)
Price: £35 per person
Maximum class size: 8 people per class
Join Cat at the wonderful Comrie Croft for a 3 hour mobile photography class. You’ll receive tips and advice for taking beautiful photographs with your phone, including composition, focusing and editing.
This is a group class (maximum of 8) and people of all abilities are welcome. We do not recommend this class for any children under the age of 12. Any children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a fully paying adult.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me prior to the event.
9:30am – 10:00am: Upon arriving at Comrie Croft, we’ll meet in the main building near reception. Cat will give a quick introduction with tips and advice on how to take beautiful photos with your phone. She’ll also provide some tips on editing your images using an app called Snapseed.
10:00am – 12:00pm: We’ll walk around Comrie Croft, taking in the beautiful natural views and taking/editing photos. Cat will be on hand to help you get the best images and to provide feedback along the way. Should the weather be too bad for us to wander outside, fear not! Comrie Croft has some lovely areas to practice indoors or near the main building so we’ll always have a backup plan!
12:00pm – 12:30pm: We’ll head back to the main building in time for lunch (not provided), where the cafe will be open. Cat will be on hand to give any further feedback or editing advice if needed.
After the session ends, you are welcome to explore Comrie Croft on your own to try out your photography skills.
- Attendees need to be comfortable with a few steps and walking hilly outdoors areas.
- Please bring your phone and ensure it’s fully charged
- Please install an app called “Snapseed” prior to the event. It’s free and made by Google. This is the editing app we’ll be using. Don’t worry if you forget – there’s wifi at Comrie Croft so you will be able to download it on the day. If you’d rather use a different mobile app, such as Lightroom Mobile, that’s fine too, but the tuition will be focussing on Snapseed.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather, with comfortable walking shoes and waterproofs if needed. If it has been raining, it may well be a little muddy, so wellies or waterproof footwear is a good idea.
