You don’t have to keep running on empty
1-to-1 Burnout Coaching
If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed and wondering how long you can keep this up, I can help.
Hi, I’m Cat. I’ve burned out three times while building companies, leading teams and shipping products to millions of users. Each time I didn’t realise how bad it was until I hit crisis point.
I’ve built my coaching practice so that other people don’t have to experience burnout and stress the same way I did.
Are you
Running on empty but still performing like you’re fine?
Scared that slowing down means you’ll fall behind, let people down, or lose what you’ve built?
The person everyone relies on, who is supposed to have all the answers?
Unable to switch off and tired in a way that a good night’s sleep doesn’t fix?
Starting to feel that the job, business or life you worked so hard for is what’s wearing you down?
Or maybe, your friends and family have voiced concerns that you’re overdoing it, but you don’t want to admit it to yourself.
If you’re carrying too much I can provide the tools and support to help you safely put things down while you recharge.
We work together to
Understand your personal burnout symptoms and warning signs.
Map your stressors. From the obvious big ones to the small daily ones that compound over time.
Work through solutions to those stressors and build your stress-resilience
Look at your energy so you know what energises you and what drains you.
Build habits, tools and understanding that will help you find sustainable success long-term.
Burnout is prevented with sustainable ways of working rather than a quick fix.
While some coaches offer generic wellness advice, my approach is different. I’ve been where you are: the strong one, the capable one, the one with the big job title that everyone relied one. All while silently crumbling on the inside. I know what you’re going through and I can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Most people I work with aren't in full crisis when we start. They are the ones who've noticed something's not sustainable and want to deal with it before it becomes a crisis. The earlier you catch burnout and implement the tools and techniques, the easier it is to prevent (or recover from).
-
No. I’ve worked with founders and senior leaders, and my own background is in running companies, but burnout doesn’t depend on a job title. If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed or running on empty, whatever your role or stage of life, this is for you. The approach is the same: understand your stressors, look at your energy and build ways of working and living that last.
-
No. I'd be wary of anyone who promises that. Burnout isn't solved once and forgotten; it's managed through ongoing awareness, habits and boundaries. What I offer is the process, tools and understanding to recognise your own warning signs, address what's actually causing your stress and build a sustainable way of working. I make sure you're equipped to manage it yourself long after we've finished working together. The work is yours to do; I'm here to guide and support you through it.
-
Yes. Coaching focuses on the present and the future: understanding your stressors, building habits and tools and working out what to change. Therapy can explore deeper emotional or past experiences and treat mental health conditions. I’m not a therapist or doctor, and coaching isn’t a replacement for either. If we find you need more support than coaching can offer, I’ll tell you and point you to the right professional help. If you’re in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact your GP, NHS 111 or the Samaritans (116 123) straight away.
-
Many clients pay through a personal development budget at work. It’s always worth asking.
I also occasionally offer reduced-rate spots. If cost is the only thing stopping you, please get in touch.
-
Most quick fixes treat the symptoms of burnout but not the cause. This process is built to find your personal causes of burnout and help you solve them, rather than just calming you temporarily.
-
Yes. What we discuss stays between us. If your employer is paying, I don't report back on the content of our sessions. The confidentiality is often exactly what makes it easier to be honest here than it would be internally.
-
Yes. Sessions are online (excluding the in-person intensive option), so I work with clients internationally.
-
Absolutely! I am more than happy to set up a free 30 minute call to discuss what you’re going through and see how I can help. Just drop me a message to get started.
-
Yes. I was diagnosed with ADHD at 41, and understanding that changed how I saw my own burnouts: the masking, the sensory overload, the sheer effort of things that looked easy for other people. I can’t diagnose you and I’m not a clinician. What I can do is help you notice how your brain and energy work, spot the stressors that hit you hardest and build supports that fit you. If you’d like an assessment, I’m happy to talk through what I learned and suggest you speak to your GP about next steps.
